Portraits Stories

The portrait photography is perhaps the most intimate field a photographer can explore: face to face between photographer and model, and just the camera between them (and the intimidating lights if it's in the studio).

Some photographers strafe their model using the "burst" mode, hoping that among the hundreds shots obtained, a few will be good enough.

I never use the burst mode: I like to create this intimate atmosphere required and wait for the expression I want to capture to reveal itself on the model's face .

This is a bit riskier method, because if the model does not adhere to it, or does not feel involved, not much good comes out of it, in the end.

reminder: you can buy photos from this website, as prints, fine art prints, but also as downloadable HR digital files, with an individual or commercial license regarding to what you will do with them.
