Being a street photographer often comes down to a great deal of luck.
Being in the right place at the right time.
It also means keeping an eye on the world around us and bearing witness to what that eye has seen by sharing it.
I took this photo during a snowy winter in Paris, near the Canal Saint-Martin. From a distance, I thought the man was reading the news (hence the title of this post). In fact, like me, he was photographing the moment.
