Well, Bangkok is over... In less than 12 hours, I'll be flying back to Paris, via Taipei.
I spent over a month in this amazing city: I wanted to get a feel for it, to determine if I could live there. I'm now convinced I can, and I have between 7 and 11 months to put in place what's necessary to return and stay.
The memories I'm taking with me aren't just memories: they're the first stones of a barely sketched edifice that I'll have to build.
These places that have become familiar, these encounters that have almost made me friends, these new friends whose relationships it's up to me to nurture, are the foundations of my new life starting next year, barring any unforeseen obstacles.
I'm leaving sad, because I didn't want to leave, but with the hope of returning soon.
